Chief Executive Officer, Cambridge College
Sandra “Sandy” Doran, J.D. is the Chief Executive Officer of Cambridge College, where she is recognized for her leadership in applied learning & teaching, effectiveness in AI and cybersecurity innovation, commitment to outreach, and dedication to student success, lifelong learning, and industry partnerships.
Based on over 25 years of experience in higher education, supply chains, and the law, Sandy advances the mission of Bay Path and Cambridge College to support adult learners, pioneer more impactful online education, and design programs that respond to mission-critical marketplace needs.
In 2024, Sandy spearheaded the merger with Cambridge College to further expand Bay Path’s online and in-person impact locally, nationally, and globally in the higher education landscape.
Prior to joining Bay Path University, where she serves as the sixth President, Sandy was the President of Salem Academy and College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, one of the nation's oldest educational institutions for women. At Salem, she led successful initiatives to increase enrollment, enhance academic programs, and strengthen the institution’s financial standing.
Sandy received her BA in Political Science from Southern Methodist University and her Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law.
