Background

Karyn Glemaud-Anis is an experienced marketing professional with over fifteen years of experience in the higher education industry. She has a proven track record of optimizing strategies for quality results, leveraging her recent MBA education, entrepreneurial background, and work experience to support leadership, analytics, organization, and innovation for success.

In her current role as the Assistant Director for MIT Sloan School of Management's Undergraduate Program, Karyn provides academic, career, and personal advising for students majoring in Management, Business Analytics and Finance. Part of her role is marketing the program to MIT undergraduates, promoting the value of leadership, management, entrepreneurship, networking, and applied theories found in the management coursework. In addition, she leads the charge in her department for fostering community and belonging amongst students, faculty, and alumni within MIT Sloan and the broader MIT institution through community and affinity events.

As an Adjunct Professor at Cambridge College, Karyn brings her passion for education and her personal experience as an adult learner and proud alumni of the college to inspire and support students to achieve their academic and professional goals. Karyn also has a professional background that includes food entrepreneurship, business consulting, and is a also published children's book author. Her next goal is to pursue a PhD researching work/life balance and the importance of health & wellness within business practices.

Karyn Glemaud-Anis is a proud Boston native with family roots in Haiti. She has had the exciting experience of living in New Zealand and Paris, France. Karyn currently resides just north of the city with her husband and four sons.
