Background
Leba Heigham has a diverse background in public K-8 education. She has been a math and science classroom teacher, a mentor to new teachers, a math coach, an assistant principal, and a math interventionist. She chooses to work in urban schools to help provide the same opportunities to others that she was able to access through her education. Leba also has extensive experience within the teacher's union and as a member of a school committee. She brings this comprehensive knowledge of the public education system to help prepare the next generation of math and English as a second language teachers.
