Our mission is To provide school nurses an accessible graduate program to gain the advanced knowledge and skills necessary for 21st Century School Nursing Practice.™ Our program combines nursing curriculum with education and counseling courses to bridge the healthcare and education environments.
Background
Dr. Endsley has over 35 years of nursing experience. She is a practicing school nurse at Wells High School in Wells, Maine, and is an active board member of the Maine Association of School Nurses (MASN). She was MASN President, 2018 - 2020, and Maine Director to the National Association of School Nurses, 2011 - 2015. She earned her Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Missouri - Kansas City in 2021, her MSN from SUNY Stony Brook in 2003, and her BSN from St. Anselm College in 1985. She has experience in acute care in obstetric nursing and served for three years on her local school board. Her past honors include Maine School Nurse of the Year in 2016 and the Maine American Nurses Association Public Health Leadership Award in 2020.
