Background
Dr. Hutchinson is a faculty member at a number of institutions nationwide, including Cambridge College Global, San Jose State University, eCornell, Landmark College, and UMass Global. He teaches Information Literacy, Digital Literacy and Art History courses. He is also a reference librarian at Northeastern University. His dissertation focused on how international students made sense of their experiences taking information literacy courses.
Dr. Hutchinson is interested in continuing research into his dissertation topic, as well as researching more on the role of LGBTQ+ librarians at academic libraries.
