The Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a Public Accounting concentration is the first step toward the knowledge and skills required to become a certified public accountant (CPA). The foundational knowledge presented in this program is designed for all students of accounting. However, the foundational basis has been built around the tenets of the CPA exam sections. Students wishing to sit for the CPA exam should determine the necessary education requirements in their home or work state by looking at www.nasba.org.
