Stephanie Browne is the founder and CEO of a boutique consulting firm specializing in Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, DEI strategy, HRIT strategy design and implementation. Stephanie is considered a trusted advisor to CEO’s, COO’s and CHRO’s.

A multidisciplinary diverse strategic talent leader with over 30+ years in leading critical talent in human resources, technology, property and casualty, and health insurance large companies. Stephanie is a trained Certified Healthcare Insurance Executive (CHIE) from the AHIP ELP program and a corporate executive "Strengthening the Pipeline" graduate trained by Dr. Price Cobb, author and educator, from the Executive Leadership Council, Stephanie has learned from global leaders who have shaped healthcare policy, technology and corporate DEI inclusion programs at Fortune 100 companies

Stephanie Browne spent 27 years in healthcare. Most recently as the Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Chief Diversity Officer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. In her role, Stephanie was responsible for setting the corporate diversity, equity & inclusion strategy and leading the development and implementation of a world-class talent organization. Her responsibilities included recruiting high quality talent for the entire organization. Over the six years in the HR organization, Stephane maintained the employee demographics at 26% People of Color and 80% women.

Corporate awards under her leadership were above standard for a company of its size and scale; Human Rights Council 100%, Disability Equality Index 100%, DiversityMBA Top 10 in the US, Forbes Best Place to Work for Women Top 20, Working Women Top 25 for more than three years in a row. She has been honored by Color Magazine, 2022 Top 50 CDO’s, Ad Club 2022 Honor Roll for Inclusion, Diversity MBA, 2022 Top Ten Panel Diversity Best Practices, Global Diversity Magazine, 2020 Top 10 Women Leaders in Diversity for the strategy and talent results at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of MA and in 2019 she was honored with the Mosaic Award from the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council.

Prior to her HR role, Stephanie led the IT Strategy and Planning organization where she was charged with planning and delivering technology programs for the enterprise. In addition to the strategy role, she supported the Corporate Strategy and Innovation teams during the launch of Design Thinking and the Idea Management programs for the company.

Outside of work, Browne is dedicated to service through volunteerism and entrepreneurship. Her dedication includes serving as a Board Director and Audit Chair for Cambridge College, Boston, MA, Board Director, Mass Technology Leadership Council, Boston, MA., and a appointed member of the Dukes County, MA Personnel Board.

Today, Stephanie is an influencer with a new community called Sipping Sense, helping others become confident host. Gaining tips, tricks and savvy ideas to entertain with food, wine and cocktails while supporting socially conscious women, people of color and companies. Stephanie’s entrepreneurial interests began in 1998, when she found Divas Uncorked, a Boston based wine education group whose mission was to demystify wine for women and people of color. Stephanie and three other Divas were the first persons of Color to appear as the Keynote Speakers of the International Nederberg Wine Auction in South Africa. This advocacy work in wine led her to design and open her own wine store where she built a high-class establishment focused on educating her retail consumers on wine and lifestyle.

Stephanie is an Executive Leadership Council Pipeline graduate, Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP) Fellow graduate with a Certified Health Insurance Executive (CHIE), and holds a Masters of Education from Cambridge College.
