We are thrilled to share the excitement and pride we feel following the successful launch of Summer 2025 at Cambridge College Puerto Rico. On Saturday, May 31, we hosted our New Student Orientations, welcoming a vibrant and diverse group of incoming graduate students.

Thanks to the outstanding efforts of our Admissions Team — led by Christopher Santiago Rosas and supported by Alina Camacho, Mario Ramos, and Dr. Santiago Mendez Hernandez, Campus Dean — along with John Alonso, Senior Director of Admissions at Cambridge College, we served over 160 professionals interested in beginning their academic journey with us. From them, we are expecting more than 100 registered new students.

We proudly welcomed students from across Puerto Rico, as well as from several U.S. states, including Massachusetts, Illinois, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, some of them are international (Hispanic) students residing in the mainland United States. The representation across all our graduate concentrations led to a transformation of initially low-enrollment courses into full-capacity classes, and two sections for certain courses, — a testament to the team's dedication and strategic outreach.

More than 82 students attended in person, with an additional 22 joining via Zoom. The event was further enriched by the participation of both long-serving and new faculty members, fostering a true sense of academic community. They expressed that they came through word of mouth, social media, and the more intensive marketing we have this year through traditional media as TV, radio, and billboards.

Mental Health Counseling students received an additional specialized orientation; and during the afternoon session, Technology Coach Martha Damacela guided students through the use of our digital learning platforms. In the coming days, students will participate in additional sessions covering APA 7th edition style, professional graduate writing, emotional adjustment when returning to academic life, financial aid, and other key topics to help ensure a smooth and successful transition into graduate studies; specially designed for those that has stopped studying long time ago.

Please join us in congratulating the Admissions, Student Services, and Faculty teams for their commitment and for demonstrating what it means to work as one family — always putting our students and our institution first.
