School Leadership

Dr. James Lee, Dean, School of Arts and Sciences

Dr. James Lee earned his Doctoral degree in Higher Education and International Education Systems from Northeastern University. He also earned a Master of Arts in Biology from Harvard University, where he served as head lecturer and teaching and research fellow. Dr. Lee is the co-founder and executive director of New England Seacoast Institute. He is also co-founder and president of Harvard Marine Science Review.

The School of Business and Technology facilitates acquisition and further development of essential knowledge and competencies that are necessary to build successful business-related careers. The School emphasizes hands-on, project-based learning focused on acquisition and mastering of in-demand skills and competencies.

Dr. Andrew Banasiewicz, Interim Dean, School of Business and Technology

Andrew Banasiewicz joined Cambridge College in 2018 as an Associate Professor of Business Analytics. He was subsequently promoted to full Professor of Business Analytics in 2019. He is an active industry consultant specializing in risk analytics. Prior to Cambridge College, Andrew spent several years as an Associate Professor of Practice at Boston University.

School of Education and Counseling

Cambridge College's School of Education and Counseling (SEC) offers programs and certificates that help graduates transform their communities and their own careers. The faculty are committed practitioners who exemplify the values of rigor, determination, passion and engagement. Steeped in the tradition of adult education, the SEC produces graduates from both licensure and non-licensure programs that have careers in public and private schools, higher education institutions, public policy agencies, clinics, health centers and hospitals at local, regional, national and international levels. Our programs are imbued with the values of social justice, access and inclusion, and graduates acquire the skills, values and empathy necessary to engage with the challenges facing the fields of education and counseling today.

Doris Van Gorder, Interim Dean, School of Education and Counseling

Doris Van Gorder is a dedicated educator and administrator with an extensive background serving as a senior professor, teacher leader and administrator. She has held notable positions such as the Interim Director of Teacher Education at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and various roles within the Boston Public Schools, including Director of Special Education at Charlestown High School. Doris holds multiple MEd degrees and certificates of advanced graduate studies in special education and transition leadership.

Dr. Michael Marrapodi, Dean, Cambridge College Global

For the past 14 years, Dr. Marrapodi has served as a faculty member in graduate divisions of several colleges and universities. Most recently, he served as a Core Faculty in Research for Walden University and prior to that, Dean of Online Learning and Institutional Affairs at Quincy College. Dr. Marrapodi holds an EdD in Educational Leadership from Johnson & Wales University.
